Honolulu Clamps Down on Surge Pricing; Uber, Lyft Push Back

The City Council passed a measure Thursday to cap surge pricing on ride-hailing apps during peak hours, the first legal limit on the practice in the U.S. Uber criticized the move, saying it would impose "outdated taxi-style requirements on ride-share."
