Foundation Honors and Supports First Responders as Nation Commemorates 9/11

For many New Yorkers, the 18th anniversary of 9/11 is a solemn reminder of the need to honor and support first responders. Frank Siller, whose brother Stephen was killed that day after running from Brooklyn to Manhattan to help, has dedicated his life to supporting fallen and injured servicemembers, first responders, and their families with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. "It is the least that we can do as a country to take care of these great heroes," Siller said.

Former star volleyball player Hayley Hodson never got to reap the financial reward of her athletics career due to NCAA regulations. Now she hopes California's controversial 'Fair Pay to Play Act' will change the status quo. "What this bill would do is start the ball rolling," Hodson told Cheddar. "Just giving student athletes the freedom to advocate for themselves, earn their own media contracts, and be able to negotiate ways that they can support themselves."
